Beyonce second pregnancy rumors, Is she or isn’t she? That’s the million dollar question. Rumors have be swirling for weeks that Beyoncé may be pregnant with her second child and the singer made a huge statement about the matter with her latest Tumblr post.

Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z have been dismissing rumors that they are pregnant with their second child. From Instagram messages to her Tumblr page, Queen Bey has released subtle hints that she’s not expecting, and now she is literally drinking the rumors away!

Bey’s Latest Tumblr Pic Dismissing Pregnancy Rumors

While on her world tour, Beyoncé has posted numerous pictures on her Tumblr page and some even indicate that the “Single Ladies” singer isn’t pregnant. On May 21, she posted a photo of a dinner menu that included tuna salad which experts say pregnant women should avoid because of the high levels of mercury.

On May 31, she posted a photo with Jay-Z sitting happily together while Bey drinks what appears to be a glass of wine. Any amount of alcohol is not allowed during pregnancy, so this photo is just another hint that Blue Ivy isn’t getting a little sister or brother in the near future.

A Long Line Of Denial From Queen Bey

Rumors began running rampant after Beyoncé canceled her concert in Antwerp, Belgium in early May due to exhaustion and dehydration. However, Beyoncé & co. soon began denying the gossip.

She posted an Instagram message on May 18 that said “all I can do is laugh” at the rumors. She looked super slim at her concert in Milan May 18 and her husband Jay-Z reportedly sent an email to NYC rap station Hot 97 saying she’s not pregnant.

Without coming right out and saying it, it looks like Beyoncé is really trying to tell us she isn’t expecting a second child!

What do YOU think about Beyoncé’s latest pregnancy denial pic? Do YOU think she is or isn’t pregnant? Tell us what you think!

Baby named New Folder

Baby named New Folder, A couple from Houston, Texas, has given their newborn baby the temporary name “New Folder” until they can think of something better, The Global Edition finds out.

Ben and Diane Davis could not come to an agreement on what to name their newborn son, so they decided not to rush anything or make any hasty decisions they would later come to regret.

“We just haven’t been able to find a male name that both Diane and I like equally” Mr. Davis said. “Until the very last day we thought the baby would be a girl, but when the doctor told us it was going to be a boy, we were completely stunned and unprepared,” the new father added.

The Davis couple, who own a web developing firm, told our reporters that they were close to naming their son Dennis, but quickly figured out how stupid that name really sounds.

As 30 days is the legal deadline to give your child a name before the state does it for you, the young couple said that they will surely come up with a better name for their kid in the meantime, and if they don’t, they can always name him “Son.1″.

Ben and Diane Davis thought the baby was a girl until the very last day, Nicki Sterling was sent home to Texas after falling in love – and spending the night in the fantasy suite – with The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik.

Calling from the Lone Star State this week, the 26-year-old dental hygienist says she's "still in the process of completely getting over everything," and has plenty to say about skinny-dipping, her elimination and the final two.

You seemed shocked not to get a rose.
I was blindsided. Each time we were together, I felt more confident. It's hard to say who I thought was going home. I just did not think it would be me.

What went wrong?
It boils down to him having stronger feelings for two other women. Hearing him refer to me as the "dark horse" lets me know he enjoyed my company in the beginning but didn't have a strong connection until the end. I probably had stronger feelings for him sooner than he had for me.

Some people blame the fact that you had less solo time with Ben than the final two women.
The time we spent together, although short, was very meaningful and enough to know what we had was really good. I looked at it as a compliment. He didn't need extra time to figure out that he wanted me around.

The show's host Chris Harrison thought the problem was that your relationship with Ben was immature.
I love Chris but I don't agree. Our relationship was really mature. We talked about important things, had intense conversations. He had a good grasp on my past.

I wasn't one to beg him for reassurance. I tried to make moments meaningful yet playful. Those two things are important in a relationship.

Did you get closure?
I heard what I needed to get closure. I didn't need to hear nice things to be okay with leaving or with myself. I'm a firm believer in everything happens for a reason.

Was your family disappointed it didn't work out?
They were worried. I was going through heartbreak. Their biggest fear was that I wouldn't get back on my feet. But once they saw me transition back to my daily routine, they look at it as a learning experience.

They would have loved for it to work. They enjoyed the time spent with him. They wouldn't have given their blessing if they didn't.

Has your opinion of him changed as you watch the season?
He's a great person. I would never say a bad word.

Not even after seeing the skinny-dipping scene with Courtney Robertson.
It stung a lot to see that knowing that was the same week we had our first real moments together. I wish he would have said, 'Not a good idea. The girls will be upset.' But he's a 29-year-old guy being seduced by one of the most attractive women on earth. I can't fault him in the moment.

She worked her magic. I don't know any other guys who would have done anything differently in the same situation.

Do you regret badmouthing Courtney to Ben?

I don't regret warning him in the least. If he ended up hurt and I hadn't said something, I'd somehow take the blame.

Did you buy her apologies?

I didn't buy it at all. I didn't believe her tears. It looks as though she realized her chance of making it to the end might be hindered by how she treated other people so she started to backpedal. The Courtney that I got to know wasn't sincere in that manner.

Do you buy that she loved him?

No. She gained a lot from this experience. He was a prize instead of soul mate in her eyes.

Who should he choose?

I see him with Lindzi more. She's very laid back, easygoing. Their senses of humor are very compatible. She was there for him, was open and honest and I could see it lasting.

Rumor has it the relationship is already over.
If Courtney was chosen, I'm not surprised at all. I don't see how Ben could watch the season and not be extremely upset and disappointed with her. He's being fooled.

Are you over him? Dating again?

Not completely. It's hard to fall for somebody that doesn't fall back. The idea of dating hasn't crossed my mind since I left Switzerland.

It's been a good time for me. I've been working, hanging out with friends, focusing on myself and trying to get back to that strong confident place I was at before I left for the show. It's going to take a while to put myself out there 100 percent like on the show. I'm confident it will happen. I'm just not in any hurry.

The Edge daughter, The wife of U2 star The Edge has described for the first time the "hell" the couple endured after their daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia.

The rocker's partner Morleigh Steinberg admits she was devastated when doctors told her that Sian, now 13 years old, had the life-threatening illness in 2006.

Steinberg says, "You're in shock then you just go into survival mode. The whole thing is hell but at the same time you stay positive and you really live. You live more because you don't want to take anything for granted."

The Beautiful Day hitmakers postponed a string of dates on their Vertigo tour after the guitarist, real name David Evans, received the news.

He took his daughter to receive treatment in Los Angeles and Dublin, Ireland and she has now made a good recovery.
Steinberg adds: "She's through it and she's fine."

Phaedra Bloom Forever, The 24-year-old daughter of Sir Bob gave birth to her and husband Thomas Cohen’s second son on April 24 – the same birthday as her mother, Paula Yates.

And in her first photoshoot with their little bundle of joy – whose full name is Phaedra Bloom Forever – she admitted they wanted to give him a quirky name.

‘I wouldn’t be a Geldof if I didn’t get stick in the press about my ridiculous choice of names,’ she joked. ‘I’ve got to uphold the family tradition.’

Explaining the reasoning behind her son’s name, she continued: ‘We chose Bloom because my middle name is Honeyblossom and also in homage to the Nirvana record In Bloom. Forever we chose purely because it sounds cool.

‘I love his name and think he sounds like a rock star. We liked Phaedra because it features in a song both Tom and I love by Lee Hazlewood, called Some Velvet Morning.

‘It’s nothing to do with some band called Tangerine Dream, as has been reported. I’ve never heard them.’

And despite Phaedra being born on such a special day for Peaches, she insists it wasn’t planned.

‘It wasn’t an option. Maybe it is if you go private, but we didn’t and were given the date randomly by a consultant,’ Peaches added to Hello! magazine.

‘I was pretty amazed when I read it though, and had to smile. I couldn’t help feeling Mum must have had a hand in it.’

Peaches married Cohen, 22, last summer and gave birth to their now 13-month-old son Astala last April.Astala was also due on April 24 but as Peaches had a Caesarean, his birth date was brought forward.

‘It’s like mum was very determined that one of her grandsons would be born on her birthday,’ Peaches added.

Paula died from a drug overdose in 2000 when she was 41. Peaches was just 11.

Carly Rae Jepsen

Carly Rae Jepsen, The 27-year-old pop star believes her fellow Canadian singer - who she shares a manager, Scooter Braun, with - is getting unfairly treated by the media and is doing well as a 19-year-old in the public eye.

Carly told Billboard magazine: "I actually am so out of the loop on any it. But people are constantly, like, 'Is Justin OK?' I've not really noticed any of that. I feel like Justin's a guy who's working hard every day, and I think the media can sometimes be a little brutal with stuff and over-exaggerate things. But I stand by him. I support him. I think he's a good guy, and he's doing the best he can."

Over the past few months Justin has hit the headlines after cannabis was allegedly found on his tour bus, he then annoyed his neighbours with unreasonable behaviour, has been accused of various driving offences and had his pet monkey quarantined in Germany.

Carly also reiterated her motivation for pulling out of a Boy Scouts of America concert over its anti-gay policy.
The 'Call Me Maybe' hitmaker was due to perform at the organisation's festival, the National Scout Jamboree, in July, but cancelled her appearance because the youth organisation doesn't allow gay scouts and leaders.

She said: "It's pretty simple; I believe in equality for everyone. I did not know that (the Jamboree) was going to be the big deal it became, but it just wasn't something I felt comfortable supporting. So I got out of it, and I'm hoping that moments like that do put a bit more light on that sort of subject, because it's something that shouldn't be an issue any longer. This sort of stuff needs to stop now."

UFO Britain

UFO Britain, But in the end it was not aliens which overwhelmed the Ministry of Defence’s UFO unit but a rather more mundane tormentor - Chinese lanterns.

Newly released files from the National Archives reveal how the department, part of the RAF, was closed after becoming inundated with reports from the public about the flying flammable devices which have become popular at weddings and parties.

The year the “UFO Desk” was shut down, in 2009, it received its second highest number of sightings on record.
By November, when it closed, it had had 643 reports, treble the number of the previous year (208), and far higher than over the first seven years of the decade, when annual sightings were a relatively stable 150.
It was beaten only by 1978, when the release of the film Close Encounters of the Third Kind led to a surge in interest - and 750 sightings.

The files show how officials put the increase down to the spread of Chinese lanterns, which grew in popularity over the period. Dr David Clarke, a Sheffield Hallam academic and the National Archives consultant on the UFO files, said that around two thirds of reports from 2009 could relatively easily be put down to Chinese lanterns.

Such sightings were often reported as formations of orange lights, often filmed on mobile phones and video cameras. The reports tended to cluster around the summer months, often by people outdoors walking dogs, smoking cigarettes, enjoying family barbecues - or even relaxing in hot-tubs.

In one case, a group of soldiers from the Royal Irish Regiment on duty at Tern Hill barracks, near Market Drayton, Shropshire, reported seeing mysterious objects flying overhead.

One soldier filmed what was described as “lots of multi-coloured dots”. They were later found to be Chinese lanterns released from a wedding at a nearby hotel.

In a briefing before the unit was closed, Bob Ainsworth, the then defence secretary, was told that the “upsurge” in sighings had begun to make the workload unmaneageable for the unit.

Carl Mantell of the RAF’s Air Command recommended that the department “should seek to reduce very significantly the UFO task which is consuming increasing resource, but produces no valuable defence output.”

Mr Ainsworth was told that in more than 50 years, “no UFO sighting reported to [MoD] has ever revealed anything to suggest an extra-terrestrial presence or military threat to the UK” and “there is no defence benefit in [MoD] recording, collating, analysing or investigating UFO sightings.”

The MoD argued that sightings - even from reliable sources - served no useful purpose and diverted air defence specialists from their main tasks.

The documents are among 25 files released by the National Archives today, relating to sightings of UFOs reported to the Ministry of Defence from 2007 to 2009.
It is the tenth and final release of information collected by the Government on the subject since 1967. Before then, such files were destroyed after five years.

They contain correspondence with members of the public and ministers, as well as sighting reports.
Among other highlights include:

• A "near collision" between a police helicopter and a UFO over Birmingham city centre which was investigated - but not solved - by the UK Airprox Board, the official body which looks into “near misses”.

• An account from a retired RAF Flight lieutenant who witnessed the tracking of a UFO on airfield radar at RAF Lyneham - a phenomena also sighted visually by two airmen on the ground.

• a sketch of a UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) spotted from the ground as it appeared to cross the path of an airliner near Portsmouth, in December 2007. This sighting was referred to MoD by a NATO official. An investigation concluded the UFO could be a light aircraft.

• a UFO seen hovering near the Houses of Parliament.
The UFO desk, based in Whitehall before moving to RAF High Wycombe, collected reports and information from the public, as well as other agencies, such as the police and air traffic authorities.

The desk had a dedicated telephone hotline and email address for sightings, which were created to improve communications with the public following a surge in UFO interest at the time of the 50th anniversary of the Roswell Incident - a supposed in 1997.

Dr Clarke said: “The last pieces of the puzzle have finally been revealed with this insight into the last days of the UFO desk. These files spell out clearly why the MoD decided - after 60 years - it no longer needed to keep tabs on sightings, even those made by ‘credible’ people such as police officers and pilots. The last files from the UFO desk are now all in the public domain. People at home can read them and draw their own conclusions about whether ‘the truth’ is in these files or still out there.”

The latest release of documents marks the end of a five year rolling disclosure programme of the UFO files.
In total 209 files and approximately 52,000 pages of information on unidentified objects in the sky, collected by the Ministry of Defence, have been made available to the public by the National Archives.

Lake Powell accident, One woman is dead and two more are missing after a boat accident on Lake Powell.

According to KSL, a motorboat and a houseboat collided on Lake Powell on Thursday. A 57-year-old woman who was sitting in the front of the motorboat was killed in the crash. Two other women, ages 29 and 22, are missing and presumed dead.

Rescue workers transported two people, including an 11-year-old girl, to a nearby hospital in Flagstaff, Arizona via helicopter. Kane County Sheriff’s Sgt. Alan Alldredge said that both of the passengers were conscious and did not suffer life threatening injuries.

Alldredge said that the accident occurred in a channel of the lake that is a “couple hundred” yards wide. It is unclear what caused the accident but Alldredge said that Lake Powell can get very crowded at this time of year.

Alldredge said: “This time of year, the lake can get busy and these kinds of accidents, even though they’re not rare, they do have a great potential for happening out there.”

Alldredge said that another person was taken to a hospital in Page, Arizona while the other people involved in the Lake Powell accident were brought back to the Wahweap Marina.

Thirteen people were on the motorboat during the crash. It is unclear how many people were on the houseboat but Alldredge said that no one on the houseboat was injured.

Obama Catholic schools

Obama Catholic schools, Belfast, Ireland – Multiple media publications are saying that President Obama may have passively-aggressively insulted Catholic schools during a keynote address at the Waterfront Hall in Northern Ireland on Thursday.

These remarks, delivered to a group of teenagers during a townhall-style meet, seem to be sparking the most controversy:

“Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity — symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others — these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it.  If towns remain divided — if Catholics have their schools and buildings, and Protestants have theirs — if we can’t see ourselves in one another, if fear or resentment are allowed to harden, that encourages division.  It discourages cooperation.”

Ironically, the group he was addressing were a mix of Catholic and Protestant students.

President Obama’s Catholic School comments didn’t take right away, but a few opinion pieces have popped up slamming the POTUS for what is perceived as his sentiment that Catholic and Protestant education are, by their very nature, divisive.

For TownHall.com, Carol Platt Liebau wrote:

“Of course, it’s ironic that the most divisive president in American history should go to Ireland and condemn division. But it also raises questions: Does this signal hostility to Catholic education in America — or hostility to religious education in general? It’s clear — from his Obamacare abortifacient/contraceptive mandate to his efforts to cut charitable deductions – that the president sees government as the only really legitimate actor in civil society.  But his willingness to characterize education by religious orders as enabling division and discord is an unpleasant reminder of his hostility to any social force with potential to check the power of Big Government.”

But for the L.A. Times, Michael McGough, an admitted “grateful product of 12 years of Catholic education,” poured cold water on the nerves made raw by Obama’s Catholic School comments.

“Context matters here.  Northern Ireland is not the United States. Even in my childhood, when Catholic kids were encouraged to attend Catholic schools and there was an arguably Protestant ethos in many public schools, Catholics and Protestants weren’t as isolated from (or as distrustful of) one another in this country as they continue to be in Northern Ireland.”

He concludes, “As for the notion that Obama is hostile to private schools with a religious character, that seems unlikely. His own children attend the Sidwell Friends School, a Quaker institution.”

Italy earthquake

Italy earthquake, A magnitude 5.2 earthquake was felt across central and northern Italy on Friday, causing some minor damage in rural areas but there were no immediate reports of injuries.

The epicentre of the quake, which hit at about 12:33 p.m. (6.33 a.m. EDT) was between the towns of Massa and Lucca in Tuscany and La Spezia in the Liguria region, the national geophysics institute said.

The tremor was felt in Milan, the largest city in northern Italy, and as far north as the Friuli region near the border with Slovenia.

The mayor of Casola in Lunigiana, a small town in the Tuscan countryside, told Italian television the quake had caused cracks in some old buildings and minor collapses but there were no reports of injuries.

Aftershocks continued to rock the area, some as strong as magnitude 4.0, officials said, adding that residents in some rural areas were advised to stay out of their homes for the time being.

The last major earthquake to hit Italy struck in May, 2012 in the central Emilia Romagna region. That quake measured 6.0 magnitude and killed more than 20 people, destroyed historic buildings and caused widespread damage to local industries.

The 'Boom Goes The Dynamite' Kid Is Now A Real Reporter, .. Later he gets the rebound. Passes it to the man. Shoots it. And boom goes the dynamite." It sounds like a SportsCenter sound bite, but those lines were uttered in March 2005 by aspiring reporter Brian Collins during a "Newslink@9" broadcast – Ball State University's student-run newscast.

It sounds like a SportsCenter sound bite, but those lines were uttered in March 2005 by aspiring reporter Brian Collins during a "Newslink@9" broadcast – Ball State University's student-run newscast.

It was Collins' first time doing any kind of on-camera work, and he decided to emulate ESPN's catchphrase-style of newscasting. While Collins struggled mightily during his first ever broadcast, he has become a viral celebrity for his "Boom Goes The Dynamite" one-liner.

Let's go over the events that led to the viral sensation known as "Boom Goes The Dynamite":

Brian Collins was shooting video for Newslink@9 when he found out the regular sports anchor was sick. A college news broadcast would seemingly make for great practice in getting to read the news on-camera; so, the 19-year old freshman saw this as a good opportunity to kick start his young career.

He went home, changed into on-camera attire, and got ready for his first ever newscast.

Like other first-time on-air personalities, it takes a few seconds for Collins to realize he's on-camera. Someone gives him a signal to tell him they're live, and he greets the audience with a friendly "hello everyone."

Right off the bat, Collins does a fine job at reading the news for a first-timer, but fourteen seconds into the segment, Collins stumbles and doesn't quite pick himself back up.

This video best depicts what happened to Collins.

It's the nightmare of any news anchor – a teleprompter malfunction. The person working the teleprompter was also new to the job and scrolled through the script at too fast of a pace for Collins to read.

He did have a copy of the script right in his hands, but the pages were out of order – a classic rookie mistake.

At the 22 second mark you hear Collins say "oh no," and the next three minutes would leave the college newsroom speechless. At one point, Collins even mouths the words "I'm so sorry."

Joe Thomas, the meteorologist of the same newscast, told Ball State Daily News that, "We all just kind of were stunned to be honest... No one really knew what to say. We all felt really bad for what happened."

Brian Collins thought he could just leave it behind and let time heal all wounds. Unfortunately for him, someone from the Newslink@9 show took the clip and uploaded it onto eBaum's World on April 1, 2005.

The video caught fire and became the most painful, but hilarious 3-minutes to spend on the Internet.

Just like Ghyslain Raza ("Star Wars Kid"), Brian Collins was upset that the video was being circulated around the web for the world to see. However, after speaking to several Ball State faculty members, Collins learned to move past the incident.

Then came a call from a Ball State alumnus – David Letterman. In June 2005, Brian Collins made an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman." Letterman helped Brian make light of the situation by showing the "Boom Goes The Dynamite" phrase used in mainstream media.

In the same week, Collins got another call to appear on a CBS show – "The Early Show." He explained to anchor Hannah Storm the origins of the "Boom Goes The Dynamite" catchphrase.

"One thing that we do is we have Mario Kart tournaments... And along with that we try to create things that'll kind of mess each other up... part of that is you create catchphrases. And obviously, 'Boom Goes The Dynamite' was one of mine."

In the same interview, Collins also said that he would get phone calls and hate mail because of the video, but he's also glad to have gone through the experience as a way of learning from your mistakes.

He even got an email from ESPN SportsCenter anchor Scott Van Pelt saying, "If this is the worst thing that ever happens to you, life will be good."

"Boom Goes The Dynamite" is now a popular catchphrase that has become more than just a viral video.

So, what's Brian Collins up to these days?

After graduating in May 2008 with a degree in telecommunications, Collins worked at a PetSmart while looking for work at various news outlets around the U.S.

He eventually landed an interview with ABC affiliate KXXV in Waco, Texas. Some people in the newsroom didn't like the idea of hiring a notable viral star, but management decided to give Brian Collins a chance.

He stayed on for about a year as a reporter with KXXV before being let go for budgetary reasons. His beat at the station were crime and city issues.

Today, Brian Collins remains in Waco, Texas and is known as the Waco City Buzz Examiner on Examiner.com – a hyperlocal news website with contributions from citizen journalists.

It's impressive enough that Brian Collins could move past his on-camera gaffe, but for him to actually become a professional broadcast reporter speaks volumes about his ambition.

Chris Crocker makes porn debut

Chris Crocker makes porn debut, Internet personality Chris Crocker has been talking about doing porn for 20 years (well, in Web years, at least). Since rumors began that he was going to appear in a Chi Chi LaRue flick, though, Crocker has appeared in his own HBO documentary (Me at The Zoo), been referenced on Glee, and even started filming a legit gay comedy.  The porn project seemed to languish.

But Queer Me Now (NSFW) is reporting that Mr. “Leave Britney Alone” is finally popping his porn cherry with the bareback site The Maverick Men (NSFW), which has released an x-rated trailer featuring Chris and his now-ex, Justin Goble.  The full scene debuts on the site October 4.

Over the summer, Crocker registered a new Twitter account, @ChrisCrockerXXX, and discussed his porn possibilities on his Tumblr page:

The mere NOTION that someone can be intelligent, talented, and do porn on the side is jarring and impossible to most. (Not all, I know you supporters are out there reading this as well. I am not  focusing ONLY on the narrow-minded.) Don’t get me wrong: I am not painting an impossibly pretty picture for the sake of changing anyones minds. It IS difficult. I have to wonder about an array of things it will interfere with. Here are someof the most commonly asked issues..

The being in relationship aspect: It all starts with trust. I tell my amazing partner everything. I tell him when a twink asks about doing a 3-way with us. I tell him when I think someone is attractive. I tell him my fantasies involving us with others. We do NOT have an “open relationship”, we do however have an OPEN MINDED relationship.. and the fact I share everything with him allows us to have 10000% trust. Plus, he knows there is a difference between me sharing my body with the internet and the way I share my body/soul/heart with him. Also, any porn endeavors I accept will include him in some capacity…

Sharing my sex life and sexual desires is no different than my day-to-day intimate videos, in MANY ways. It’s me letting down a wall most of society keeps up. That’s my only talent. Being my 100% self on camera- The self most of us try to hide. Bringing the shadows of who we are to light…
PS- What is porn anyway? ;) Is it doing a shameful, crass act on camera.. because if so, I screwed myself on camera years ago.

Hey, if Chris wants to do porn, more power to him. We just wish it wasn’t bareback porn. But if it’s with his then-boyfriend, and they were seroconcordant (and that’s some big ifs), we guess its okay?

'Charlie bit my Finger - Again' Viral Video to Become a Series

'Charlie bit my Finger - Again' Viral Video to Become a Series, Remember the ‘Charlie bit my finger – Again‘ viral video? The one where a kid (Harry) sits with a baby on his knee who proceeds to bite Harry’s finger and giggle at the resulting wails? Yep, that’s set to become a series.

Viral Spiral, the management company for viral content and Rightster, the video monetisation and distribution specialist have teamed up to produce an original series based on the antics of the two boys.

‘Rightster has made a strategic investment in Viral Spiral to create Viral Studios. The new arm of the company will co-produce and finance new digital content based on one of YouTube’s most viewed viral videos. Rightster will also offer sponsorship avenues around orignal content and drive YouTube syndication for additional marketing.

Charlie bit my finger – Again’ was posted in 2007  and has been seen almost half a billion times. Quite how this one scene will translate into a series is unknown, but if the kids are as amusing enough to drive similar viewing figures in the rest of their activities, it’s possible that the definition of ‘child star’ might have to be rewritten.

charlie bit me zazzle Charlie bit my finger   Again (and again) as viral kids are set to be syndicated as an original seriesLast year it was estimated that the family made more than £100,000 via the 57 second video. As memes tend to, the video also sparked its own blog where people can keep up with the boys adventures and even T-shirts and apps for Android and iOS. Not bad work for a video uploaded to YouTube because email would not cope with the file size.

Damian Collier, Founder and CEO of Viral Spiral commented: “We’re delighted to announce this strategic partnership with Rightster which will allow Viral Spiral to build on its expertise in developing value around hit viral properties. Today we’re at an inflection point where online content truly is king and has the ability to shape the future of the entertainment industry.”

Indeed from original viral content to the professionally created programming made by big players, finding traction online is becoming more and more important as viewers choose on-demand options and assorted content providers over traditional television scheduling.

Just this morning, BBC Worldwide announced an expansion of its partnership with YouTube to provide content for viewers in the United States and Canada. It seems that the money is clearly going to be found via advertising, marketing and presentation on the Internet.

“We’re excited to be playing such a key role in the development of original content and programming at this pivotal time in the digital entertainment industry”, added Charlie Muirhead, Founder and CEO of Rightster. “Rightster Studios enables producers of all sizes to create the next generation of engaging online video programming, and we look forward to working with Viral Spiral to successfully distribute and monetise new, original content based on the existing strength of the ‘Charlie Bit My Finger’ brand.”

If for some reason, this corner of the Internet has escaped your attention, this is the original. Who knows that Charlie might get up to next and if it will cause Harry quite as much pain.

Davison to appear in VW’s Super Bowl teaser ad

Davison to appear in VW’s Super Bowl teaser ad, Somewhere between the bone-crushing tackles of Super Bowl XLVII, you may see Minerva Councilman Phil Davison frolic across your television screen Sunday.

Davison, whose fiery speech to local Republicans in 2010 became an Internet sensation that continues to attract new audiences, appears with dozens of well-known viral freak-out stars in an online pregame teaser for Volkswagen of America’s Super Bowl ad.

A call to Volkswagen’s marketing spokesman was not immediately returned Wednesday. Called “Sunny Side,” the automaker’s nearly two-minute video snippet begins with a montage of popular YouTube rants, including 5 seconds of Davison’s unorthodox speech to Stark County Republican leaders in 2010 during his unsuccessful bid to be the party’s candidate for Stark County treasurer.

Davison then reappears with the other YouTube sensations as they join hands and happily frolic down a grassy hillside while reggae singer Jimmy Cliff sings a rendition of “The Partridge Family” television show’s theme song, “Come On, Get Happy.”

Cliff then calls out the various viral stars, including the crazy cat hugging lady, the supermarket tantrum girl and the irritated llama. He calls Davison the “screaming politician.”
The commercial ends with the phrase, “Time to get happy.”

Davison, who returned from taping the commercial in Los Angeles two weeks ago, said Wednesday he doesn’t know whether he will appear in the full-length version that will air Sunday.
“They made me no promises,” he said. “... I’m in the teaser and I’m happy about that. I might be in the commercial; I might not be.”

Davison, who watched the teaser online Wednesday afternoon, said Volkswagen shot much more video footage than what the snippet shows, but says much of it involves more romping in the field.

“It was 8 in the morning and they were like, ‘OK, everyone dance,’” said Davison, who appeared on Comedy Central’s Tosh.0 in 2011. “... I tried to sing along but all I know of that song is the chorus.”
Davison, a professed Cleveland Browns fan, plans to watch the championship game — and every commercial — Sunday. He said he’s rooting for the Baltimore Ravens.

Family cashing in on 'David After Dentist'

Family cashing in on 'David After Dentist, If you spend any time on the Internet, you've no doubt seen "David After Dentist," the YouTube video of a woozy 7-year-old boy in the back seat of a car, struggling to understand the effects of anesthesia.

The viral clip has been viewed almost 54 million times and gave rise to the catchphrase, "Is this real life?" It was the second most-watched video of 2009, according to YouTube, trailing only Susan Boyle's appearance on "Britain's Got Talent."

It's also been an unexpected bonanza for the boy's Orlando, Florida-area family, who, despite some criticism that they exploited their child by posting his image online, has turned the one-minute, 59-second home video into a lucrative sideline.

"We embraced it," said the boy's father, David DeVore, who shot the famous clip on a Flip camera from the car's front seat. "We said we will make a family adventure out of this and see what happens. Nothing has happened that we felt uncomfortable doing."

He would not say exactly how much the family has earned from the video but said it's in the "low six figures."
DeVore gave a presentation this week at the South by Southwest Interactive festival in Austin, Texas, where he explained what the family's life has been like in the 13 months since the video went viral.

"Well, I'm David DeVore, also known as David's dad, or the idiot that posted a video of his son on YouTube," he told the audience as he began his talk. DeVore then played a video greeting from David, who is now 9 years old and looks noticeably older than he does in the famous video, which was shot in May 2008.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be there with you in Austin," young David says in the new video. "I have school, you know."
DeVore said he shot the original video for two reasons: His wife couldn't attend the dental surgery, so he wanted to show her that David was OK after having an extra tooth removed. Also, he wanted to show David, who was nervous about the procedure, that the anticipation is often the worst part.

"So much for that idea," DeVore said.
He first posted the video on Facebook, but not all his relatives were members of the social-networking site, so he uploaded it to YouTube during the last weekend in January last year, never thinking anyone beside friends and family would watch it.

By the next Tuesday, it had been viewed 3 million times. The video has since spawned dozens of parodies, including "Chad After Dentist" and "David After The Divorce."

Antoine Dodson Renounces Homosexuality to Become a Hebrew Israelite

Antoine Dodson Renounces Homosexuality to Become a Hebrew Israelite, While you were chilling in the house last night preparing dinner, the most interesting thing happened. According to Missjia.com, Antoine Dodson, you know, the YouTube star from the “Hide ya kids, hide ya wife” bed intruder video, went to his Facebook and announced that he would no longer be presenting himself as a gay man. Why? Because he’d had a change of heart because of his faith. He claims to now be a True Chosen Hebrew Israelite descendant of Judah. Here’s what he had to say last night.

His last real Facebook status before this very big announcement was on April 1, so who knows how long he had actually been learning about this faith and going through such a transition. But despite how he might feel about himself now–while still toting a profile picture with pressed hair that looks better than most of the women I know–it seems some of his followers were turned off by his profession.

Claiming that it perpetuates the idea that if you want to, you can choose not to be gay. “…by renouncing your homosexuality you add fuel to the argument that being gay is a choice and this will in no doubt end up hurting someone young LGBTQ. Shame on you.”

But others were supportive of his decision, including one who said “all who hatin, why hate on someone willin to change….” With people who make a living from an identity they create on YouTube, I can’t help but wonder if this could possibly be a publicity stunt of some kind to help keep his name relevant.

And if it is, that’s definitely a very irresponsible thing to say and do in front of your mainy gay and bisexual Facebook followers/supporters. However, if it’s not, then more power to him. That’s his life, not ours…but what do you think?

Obama girl won't endorse president 2012

Obama girl won't endorse president 2012, Amber Lee Ettinger, widely known as “Obama Girl” during the 2008 presidential campaign, told The Daily Caller she is “not as excited as I was the last time, that’s for sure.”

The model-actress became a nationally known celebrity after starring in the viral YouTube video “Crush on Obama.”
“Barack Obama was definitely the first ‘Internet President,’” she said, describing her experiences during the last cycle as “quite a roller coaster ride.”

This time, however, Ettinger won’t say if she still supports Obama.
“At this point I’m keeping that to myself,” she told TheDC. “If I’m not making videos, I’m not sure it’s anyone’s business who I’m voting for this time around.”

“I think in the next few months it’s going to be very interesting to see what happens,” Ettinger said. ”I’d like to get out there and see what the young voters think about both candidates… I might need to break out my flip cam and take a road trip.”

Outside of the realm of politics, the one-time “Obama girl” is ”going back to school full time, acting and developing [her] jewelry line.”

Combating rumors that she didn’t vote in the 2008 election, Ettinger told TheDC that she did indeed vote, in Pennsylvania.

Lucas Cruikshank Films A Cameo As Fred Figglehorn

Lucas Cruikshank Films A Cameo As Fred Figglehorn, A little off topic, but the concept of a whole 90-minute feature of Fred Figglehorn in the works is still sinking in. That, and apparently it was quite the hot topic lately. For those that missed it, we broke the news last month that there is in fact a Fred movie in the works starring none other than Lucas Cruikshank as the titular high-pitched YouTube star.

According to the latest casting notices, Cruikshank is indeed attached, though the rest of the roles appear to be wide open. With shooting beginning November 20, they are looking to lock these up soon. For some reason they are looking for “cameo names only” to play Fred’s father. We’re thinking Jim Carrey.

[FRED'S DAD] Fred’s father, he’s a wildly eccentric character who encourages his son to follow his bliss and go after the girl of his dreams. Seemingly unfazed by his nightmarish marriage to a real mess of a woman, he’s relentlessly upbeat at all times…LEAD (11) Please submit cameo names only.

They are also casting a 6 year-old version of Fred, which already is making us shutter. Wait, isn’t Fred already a fictional 6-year old? Anyway it looks like he doesn’t actually have any lines, as that would probably break the speakers.

[6 YEAR OLD FRED] This 6 year old boy is Fred (Lucas Cruikshank) seen in flashback. Little Fred is playing with his pal, Evan, when Evan disappears into the woods without a trace, at which point the terrified Fred wets himself in fear…no lines, 1 scene (32)

This is no doubt a gamble for the six-figure earning teen star who may be close to jumping the YouTube shark. So the fate of this pain inducing character is now in the hands of director Clay Weiner, (aka mittymoo). The storyline listed reads like Road Trip— “When his dream girl, Judy, moves away, young Fred embarks on a quest in search of the girl he adores. It’s a hallucinatory adventure that puts Fred smack dab in the middle of one surreal escapade after another…”
